SoilTribes – Global Ecosystems Restoring Soil Values, Roles and Connectivity, ki ga financira program
Horizon Europe. Kuriral jo je
Stefano Cagol in predstavlja dela štirih mednarodno priznanih umetnikov:
Binte Diaw (IT/SN),
Nikki Lindt (NL/ZDA),
Jo Pearl (VB) in
Miguela Teodora (PT).
Vse gostujoče ustanove bodo razstavo obogatile z obrazstavnimi programi, razvitim v sodelovanju z drugimi partnerji projekta SoilTribes.

Seven European Museums Selected to Host the Exhibition “Soil Art Tales. Living Ecosystems for Shared Futures”
The Global Network of Water Museums (WAMU-NET) has selected seven European museums that will host the exhibition
Soil Art Tales. Living Ecosystems for Shared Futures between February 2026 and June 2027. We are particularly honored that the
Posavje Museum Brežice, the only museum in Slovenia to be a member of the network, is among the selected European institutions.
The exhibition is developed within the
Horizon Europe-funded project
SoilTribes – Global Ecosystems Restoring Soil Values, Roles and Connectivity. Curated by
Stefano Cagol, it features works by four internationally renowned artists:
Binta Diaw (IT/SN),
Nikki Lindt (NL/USA),
Jo Pearl (UK) and
Miguel Teodoro (PT).
The exhibition explores the profound interconnections between soil, water and life through the prism of contemporary art. Through empathy, creativity and scientific reflection, it invites visitors to rediscover soil as a living ecosystem and an essential ally in building a more sustainable and resilient future.
Each venue will enrich the exhibition with
educational and hands-on activities, often developed in collaboration with other SoilTribes partners, to engage schools and the wider public in exploring the shared values of soil and water.
